Swimming in Sweden

Mögsjon lake

Right next to our campsite lies the beautiful Lake Mögsjon, an ideal place to swim and relax. The clear water and natural surroundings make this lake perfect for a refreshing dip on warm summer days.

On the adjacent sandy beach, you will find lovely spots to sunbathe, picnic, or simply enjoy the peace and the view over the water. The lake is shallow inside the jetty, making it suitable for children. They can play and swim there. For adults and good swimmers, there is a high jetty in the middle from which you can jump or simply sit comfortably on the water.

Do you fancy a morning swim, floating on an air mattress, or spending an afternoon by the water with your family? Lake Mögsjon is a wonderful place to enjoy, cool off, and relax.

Natural hot tub

At Hättälven, on the border of Storfors and Nykroppa, you will find a unique natural swimming spot with smooth rocks and a small barbecue area. In the rapids, you can slide down the smooth stones and enjoy a natural whirlpool.

You will find this beautiful spot less than a 20-minute drive away. Please note: you will find an unguarded railway crossing at the very end of the route.

There is limited parking; you can choose to park your car on the unpaved road. This spot is less suitable for small children.

Jordkullenszwemstrand

Jordkullen

A few kilometers north of Storfors center, you will find a lovely sandy beach where you can relax and swim in the delightful water. On warm days, you can cool off nicely here. There are no toilets at this beach. We will be happy to tell you where to find this beach at the reception.
